This speech is a long speech, but I don't feel boring during the speeh. I think this speaker is very good at telling story. In this speech he gives us many example and information to let the audience tink of play is more than fun. And his picture for supporting is very funny. He mentions many aspect of play, including brain, emotion, explexion, and physical activity. All he tells us is what we see in everyday but never think of it. We all play for fun, but no play for enjoy life. this speech gives me some ideas to make my speech more interesting, I like this speech.

John Markoff on newspapers

This speech begins with the story taht speaker tell us. He gives us 4 stories, each one reveals the good and bad of newspaper. I am fond of finding false in newspaper, but the speaker's story give me a new look of newspaper, he reflash my thought of newspaper, just using some little story. I think the content is very good but because his pictures are part of newspaper so audience will have some problems to read that in a short time. I kind of like this speech.

David Perry on videogames

This speech talk about the effections that video bring to us. And it talks about videogame's history, its evolution. There are many picture in the speech also some film exist, all the pictures and films can make audience know more about what speaker is talking about, because not every one knows videogame, another function of those pictures and films is to give brief intro of the following issue that speaker wants to talk. Ithink it is very well structure speech. But I think the speaker caan have more emotions in his speech. I love this speech as well as I love videogames.

Larry Burns on the future of cars

This speech is a standard I tink. Its structure is very well. It begin with the appearance of the car make us have the proper thought of future cars, and then he goes deeper and give us more information of future car and problems that future cars will meet. But it promote the cars very well. So I think it is a very sood speech.

Jay Walker's library of human imagination

This speech is very unique, because it talks about imagination in many different way. First, it talks about the liberary that store many object that comes from human imagination. Then, he talks about the codde of life and code of death, these two things are quite different but we can connect them by our imagination. The last thing he mention is that the connection between internet and real life. All examples he gives is very out of imagine. This speech is very cool Ithink.
However, actually I don't learn a lot from it.

Dan Dennett: Cute, sexy, sweet, funny

This speech is very funny. I love it because the presenter use many pictures to support his idea, and he usse many question to ask audience though the answer is easy. He give many information to us to let us have more specific image of what he is talking about. His pronounciavion is very good, I learn Alot form him especially the blending sound. And he always has a pause at right to let the audience can think about his qestion and think about thier own opinion.
I think this is an successful speech for it can catch many people's attention. And I really learn a lot from it, its structure is very clear and strong, and his pauses are very good .

Don't eat the marshmellow

I've seen this speech before Lily gave it to us. I think this speech is not so well as Bill gates' speech. Because it seldom use the PPT to summary what he is talking about. Althought he play a film at the end of the speech, I think he still need some PPT for those who can't catch up his speed. Moerover, he has accent, I know it is my problem, but I realy can't understand his word sometimes.
I think I've some skill of speech in his speech. Including his structure of speech, his intonation, and his confidence. And most of all, I think I get more confidence in speaking english, because people like the speaker who has accent can't give a sppech so delecate maybe I can too.

The speech of great teacher - Bill Gates

After I watched the speech on the presentation zen, I found that the speaking of Bill Gates is very fluently and naturally. Even though he is absolutely an old men, his voice contains some kind of power which is convincing and his body language and facial expression is very friendly. During his speech, Bill Gates put some humorous plot in the lecture. I think I've learned so many thing from this lecture. Just like how to use the Power Point in the most proper way in order not to take away the focus from you, and the confidence in yourself is the key point if you want to present yourself before the crowd. I think my communicating skill is very poor now. I can't look at other's eyes when I'm giving a speech and I'm very nervous during the speech. But Bill Gates seems to be very calm and no hesitate. I don't know how can he do that but I guess that is because he had been a Boss for a long time so that giving a speech in front of many people is very easy to him! I wish I could be as good as him in the communication.
